The East Central Indiana Regional Partnership is dedicated to fostering economic growth in the East Central Indiana nine-county region as the lead economic development marketing and business attraction organization. Through collaboration with local economic development organizations and the state’s lead agency – the Indiana Economic Development Corporation – ECIRP will work to attract new investment, support existing industries, and enhance the quality of life, place, and opportunity for all residents.

Member counties of the Partnership include Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Grant, Henry, Jay, Randolph, Rush and Wayne – offering a population of nearly 400,000 people.

East Central Indiana Development Council

The council is made up of 9 local economic development officials to oversee economic development efforts throughout the region.

East Central Indiana Regional Partnership Services

The East Central Indiana Regional Partnership serves as the main point of contact for the region’s economic development efforts.  As a site selection consultant advising clients on location decisions or a company representative who is considering East Central Indiana for a new location or an expansion of an existing one, the Partnership can provide you with the services needed to assist with this process.

A partial listing of services offered is provided below:

  • Conduct confidential search of available sites and buildings

  • Coordinate confidential site visits to the region

  • Provide data on the region including workforce, cost of doing business, transportation, incentives

  • Provide responses to Requests for Information

  • Serve as liaison between local economic development organizations

  • Serve as liaison between state economic development organization and other state agencies
